Hand Eye Jedi
Welcome back, Game Changers! It’s that time again – time for more #Tashatips!
This week, we’re getting down to the nitty-gritty and working on hand-eye coordination. Hand-eye coordination helps you in everything you do, from making a peanut butter sandwich to winning at video games to, of course, playing softball. It’s a skill you’ll want to build upon constantly, as there’s always room for improvement. The sharper your ability to use your eyes and your hands simultaneously, the better you’ll see the ball hurtling toward you during your next at bat.
You’re going to need some unexpected props for today’s drills. Raid your sports supplies and snag a bunch of tennis balls – you’ll want between three and nine. Break out your colored markers, and you’re set to prep!
Watch today’s video to see unique new drills that will help you:
- Develop your vision and decision-making skills
- Practice your slap technique and properly track the ball
- Understand where your ball is making contract with the bat
- Make the necessary adjustments to your stance
Master these drills, and you’ll be on your way to becoming a true hand-eye Jedi!
Make this the best week you possibly can, and remember to share and like this video. I love hearing from you – let me know about your favorite hand-eye drills in the comments below!
