Hey there, Game Changers! I hope you’re having an amazing Fall, and I’m excited to share more hints and tricks in today’s #Tashatips!
Picture it: a warm, sunny day. You’ve made it to first base, and you’re catching your breath for just a moment before you make another move. There, in the distance, is your next goal: second base. You’re thinking about your stance, your speed, and your stamina. As you wipe the sweat off your forehead with the back of your hand, you wonder… do I have what it takes to make it to the next base?
Think you have to be super fast to be a good base runner? Think again! Your leads are the key to making your way around the diamond.
Today, I’ll share tips for improving your leads. Watch the video to learn about:
- Gaining momentum for the run
- Getting into the proper stance during your lead
- Maintaining motion to quickly move in either direction
