I hope your week’s off to a fantastic start, Game Changers!
In today’s #Tashatips, we’re talking about planning. You wouldn’t start a school project, go on a trip, or throw a party without strategizing ahead of time, right? The same applies to stepping up to the plate! It’s tempting to head up to bat and make a choice as the ball’s whizzing in your direction, but that can lead to impulsive moves that are less than ideal. You have time before the pitch to plan, so use it to your advantage!
Watch the video to learn about:
- Assessing the pitcher
- Analyzing the situation
- Knowing your strengths as a hitter
Thinking ahead is a critical skill that is useful for all players, from beginners to seasoned pros. Do it when you’re practicing, and it will come more naturally when you’re playing for real!
We’ll see you again next time with more #Tashatips. We’d love to hear from you, too, so please send us your suggestions and feedback!
