Agility Drills

 In tashatips

Happy Halloween, Game Changers! Before you break out your witch hats and cat ears, I’ve got this week’s #Tashatips video, and you’re definitely going to want to see what I’ve got in store for you this time.

I love agility workouts – they help you with so many aspects of the game. Today’s video is the first in a four-part series in agility exercises, so get ready to add some great new drills to your routine.

When you think of hurdles, you might think of barriers in your way to success. Today, though, we’re using physical hurdles to work on our stride length, running form, and speed. Make your way over them the same way you’d overcome other hurdles in your life: with perseverance, strength, and practice.

Check out today’s video to see some of my favorite drills, including:

  • Leg Ups and Knee Ups
  • Striders
  • Laterals

We’ll be working on the proper leg, foot, and arm form, posture, and generating speed. It’ll all pay off when you’re running the bases or sprinting through the outfield.

As a special bonus, I’ve put together a FREE Agility Workout Action Plan for you to download. It’ll take you through my favorite agility drills; add them to your workout today!

I’ll see you back again next week with more great workouts. In the meantime, I love your comments, so let me know what other drills you enjoy doing with hurdles. Have a fantastic Halloween, and save me some candy corn!
